Castano
Francisca Castano attended the University of Chile where she is also on the faculty. She has studied under several renowned artists, including Professors Alvaro Cabrera, Leonor Damesti, Arturo Santa, and Jaime Leon y Sarjo. Since 1982, Francisca has shown her work at shows and exhibitions in France, Belgium, the United States, Argentina, Canada and Uruguay. In the United States, her work was featured at International Art Fairs in Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Palm Springs. In her home country, she is represented at Galeria Matthei, Galeria Stuart, and Galleria Montecatini. Francisca's paintings and graphite works are a celebration of the female form, with a slight touch of the erotic.
