| Miguel Angel Aguilar was born in Lima, Peru in 1976. He studied at the National Art School of Bellas Artes in Lima from 1993 to 1998. He was an art professor at both the National Art School of Cajamarca in Cajamarca, Peru and at the National Art School of San Pedro de Cajas in Junin, Peru. He has also been employed as an art teacher in several schools in Lima. He studied restoration at a workshop organized by the Credit Bank of Lima, and has done restorative work at the main cathedral in Lima and on several old paintings. He has done many exhibitions in Lima, including a contest organized by the British counsel and the North American Institute, as well as exhibitions in Cali, Colombia. |
