| Chen Qi was born in Guangdong Province, China, in 1951, and graduated from the School of Oil Painting of the Guanzhou Fine Art Academy in 1976. Since then, he has worked as a painter of the National Art Academy of Zhangjiang and Vice-Director of Oil Painting Arts Committee of Zhangjiang. He is currently working as the Dean of BoLiYa Art Acadame of Shenzhen, Fine Artist Class 1 of the Shenzhen Creative Center, and Director of his own studio of oil painting. Most of his paintings have been published in Chinese Fine Arts, South Daily, and Shenzhen Fine Arts Research. His works are largely in the private collections of foreign friends. |
