Jaime Pinto was born in Caracas, Venezuela and has lived there and in Bogota, Columbia. He has shown his work in those countries, as well as in Japan, Canada and the United States. Jaime's paintings are rich in depth and color, dark yet alive. His distinctions include First Mention, Cervantes Art Biennial and he was awarded a special citation by the Ministry of Education in Venezuela at the Ramon Diaz Sanchez national painting competition. He is married to artist Camilo Pinto.
