| Edgar Flores (Palmer) was born in Tacna, Peru, on October 25, 1971. He spent most of his childhood in the southern part of Peru, where he learned to draw from the famous murals in Tacna. At the age of 16, Flores attended the art school �Escuela da Formacion Artistica Francisco Lazo�. When his family moved to Lima in search of a better life, he began attending the most important school in Peru, the �Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes�, and graduated with honors in 1996. Since then, the artist has achieved success both in South America and in the United States, and has exhibited widely. Emotions and sensations inspire Palmer, who cites human nature as his main motivation.
